I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of training a horse. I especially like starting the young horse but do a wide
variety of training. I believe by using classical dressage principles and building a solid foundation it can be carried over to any discipline. Having extensive experience in multiple disciplines I am able to help your horse reach his full potential.
My mission is to create a happy, relaxed athlete and help horse and owner develop a harmonious partnership. My training program can be customized to the individual horse and riders needs. I always like to combine dressage principles with natural horsemanship. Since I have experience in a variety of disciplines and many many breeds, I like to work for what ever your goals may be.
I believe each horse no matter what discipline should have a good basic foundation of training, including lightness, softness, excepting rein and contact, and very desensitized to a variety of things. Indoor and outdoor sessions are included with all horses. I feel this combination helps to create the safest most well rounded horse for you. I think I take a gentle but firm approach based on respect and reward. The progress of every horse is very important to me and is critiqued carefully in order to get the best outcome, all while keeping in mind that every horse is different. Each horse will develop differently and at a different rate. This is why the program can be designed specifically to the meet the needs of the each horse.
From colt-starting, tune-ups, the show ring, trail riding, to the family horse, I can help you reach your individual goal with your horse!
